Halloween at Veranda

When you purchase a Charter Home, you get more than just a roof and four walls. While we’re nationally recognized for the high quality of the homes we build, we’re also known for creating neighborhoods that are friendly, walkable and foster an unequaled sense of community. We design our neighborhoods to be pedestrian-friendly and to encourage outdoor play, with dedicated green spaces, walking trails, and even TerraParks. Porches are built close to the sidewalk and streets are narrower – encouraging Charter homeowners to slow down and chat with their neighbors. Plus, we leave the best natural spaces untouched for beautiful views that our neighbors enjoy.

Our innovative neighborhood designs often lead to organic neighborhood activities. From Halloween Parades to Bake Sales to roasting marshmallows in one of our TerraParks, our homeowners enjoy a lively social scene. One recent example is Veranda’s annual Halloween Celebration. For the past several years, Veranda’s families have gathered on Getz’s Green. Children and adults alike enjoy showing off their Halloween costumes and eating sweet treats. This year, the children enjoyed games, crafts and lots of candy… while adults in the neighborhood enjoyed a chili cook-off!

If a picture says a thousand words—then a video says million. Watch this “spooky fun” video from this year’s Veranda Halloween on the Green!
